Wednesdays @ 7:30pm Wednesday evening's meditation group consists of practitioners of all ages and experience. This group meets weekly to learn the basics of Buddhism and Meditation. Class begins with a quiet Shamatha Meditation session also known as calm abiding meditation.
After this everyone recites prayers in English & Tibetan from Meditation Tampa's prayer book. Afterwards are basic teachings on Buddhism with an emphasis on Tibetan Buddhist Meditation practice. Following the teachings are brief meditation practices (sadhanas) which involve inner yogas, visualizations & recitations of mantras. Afterwards the group recites closing prayers. Join our Classes!
